domain value

A set of information about a possible value that can appear in a UI field, XML transaction payload element, or decisioning rule. The information includes the actual value, the name of the value, and a description of the value, among other items. In a database, domain values for multiple areas are stored in a central table; the values can be looked up for use in other database tables.
