Configuring OpenAM Access Management Service

OpenAM provides an open source implementation of security mechanism in a network environment. You must configure OpenAM to use it for authentication and authorization with APM.
You must have the following information from FAC administrator:
  • Server Name
  • Admin User Name
  • Admin Password
  • Tenant Name

Use the FASt Manager to configure OpenAM for user access and password management.

  1. In the FASt Manager, go to eSpaces > om_apm_openam > Site Properties.
  2. Update the following OpenAM properties using the information provided by the FAC administrator:
    • IAMServerName
    • IAMAdminUserName
    • IAMAdminPassword
    • IAMTenantName
    • (Optional) ccList
  3. Go to eSpaces > om_users_ldap > Site Properties
    Update the following properties:
    • IAMServerName
    • IAMTenantName
