Base and Template Applications
baseapplication (OM APM), a "common" application that provides components common to the templates (OM APM Common), and three
templateapplications (OM APM Consumer, OM APM Synchronous Consumer, and OM APM Small Business). These applications make up the Application Processing Module.
OM APM is the base application that contains the base domain model and logic related to the base domain model. Technical users cannot edit OM APM content, and they cannot view it except when APIs exposed for use in the template applications. The modules in OM APM provide interfaces in the form of entities, structures, and actions that technical users can use to build a solution. The modules in the OM APM consumer, synchronous consumer, and small business templates are examples of how to use the OM APM modules.
The OM APM Common application references the base application and contains content that is common across the templates.
