Troubleshooting Display of Fonts in Letters and Documents
Documents and letters generated during application processing sometimes do not display the Chinese and Russian characters accurately.
Cause
The
APM includes a
om_doc_aspose extension module to integrate with Aspose.Words for document generation. Aspose.Words looks for TrueType fonts at standard locations on the application server that are required for generating documents with Chinese and Russian characters.
If the fonts used in the document template are not installed on the application server, they will not be displayed accurately when the final letter or document is generated.
Solution
Ensure that the TrueType fonts used in the document template are installed on the application server. By default, Aspose.Words looks for the TTF files in the following locations:
- /usr/share/fonts
- /usr/local/share/fonts
- /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts
Alternatively, you can specify the directory where the TTF files are installed.
