Logging On

Access to the system is controlled through user names and passwords. Based on the configuration, users can log in using an email address or a username. A user may be assigned to one or more groups. Users and groups are granted a variety of roles (which represent permissions) to access different features or functionality within the application.
Note: In the event of an error during logon, such as an incorrectly typed password, an error message appears on the Log On page. Re‐enter the information or contact your system administrator if you have forgotten or do not have a user logon name or password. The password policy rules are implemented by the security server that is configured for the Application Processing Module. For example, there may be a maximum number of invalid logon attempts after which you will be locked out of the system and must contact your system or security administrator for assistance. Because there may be any number of rules that are enforced, as well as for security reasons, all authentication errors are reported as an invalid user or password.
Important: Do not run the Application Processing Module in multiple tabs or in multiple windows of your browser. Do not use the browser Back, Forward, or Refresh options; only use the controls provided in the Application Processing Module user interface.
  1. To log on, open your browser and enter the URL provided by your system administrator.
    The Log On page appears.
  2. (Optional) To change the locale displayed on the Log On page, select the locale from the drop-down list.
The default locale is English (en). Other locales are only available after specific locales have been added.
  3. Enter the required information in the fields and click Log On to access the Home page.

Case sensitivity is dependent on the security mechanism that is being used and your organization's security requirements.
