Decision Module Communication Issues

The Application Processing Module communicates with the Decision Module using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) over Internet Protocol (IP).
The following are examples of communication issues that can occur:
  • No connection to the Decision Module server—This occurs if the Decision Module server is down, or there is a network problem.
  • Application not found returned—This occurs if the application has not been deployed in the Decision Module server.
  • Error returned from the Decision Module—Details about the error appear in the error message that is returned.
  • Timeout of the call to the Decision Module—This may occur if the application or server goes down while processing, or because a large configuration is taking a long time to process.
