Obtaining CRA Reports

The Application Processing Module, in conjunction with the Data Acquisition Module, has been designed to automatically obtain and use consumer and business credit reports and online credit bureau scores from the major Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) supported by this release.

Based on the product policy and the decision party, the CRA reports are purchased for an applicant. Reports are purchased from the CRA that has been specified for your company. In addition, you can repurchase the CRA reports.
Note: In the Synchronous Consumer LOB template, the workflow would include a step that fetches the CRA report. When you submit an application with co-applicants, credit reports for all applicants are fetched. The Print image or HTML report for all the applicants is displayed under their associated consumer details section.
Note: The steps given below are for the Consumer and Small Business LOB templates.
  1. To do so, perform one of the following steps:
    • Search for an application in the Pending Credit Offer Entry or Pending Review Resolution status and open it.
    • Access and open an application from the queue that your administrator may have created and defined for pending review status in the My Queues pane on the Home page.
  2. Expand the Credit Offer Details pane on the Application page and select the Re-evaluate for <Applicant Name> option for the applicant or co-applicant you want to obtain a CRA report for.
    If this is a joint application, you can only select to purchase one CRA report at a time.
    Note: If you are working on a business application, you will see a Re-evaluate for <Application Number> option.
  3. In the Purchase CRA report again? field, select Yes.
  4. Click Evaluate and then click OK.
    The system displays a message that the evaluation request was submitted successfully.
