Stop Steps (for User Interaction and to End a Workflow)
Stop steps either indicate the termination or end of the workflow, or they indicate a step where the workflow stops and does not proceed further until a certain human activity is done. Stop steps move the processing back to the APM user interface. When there is a human activity in the workflow, you must configure a stop step.
For example, during a duplicate resolution check, you would need to configure a stop step where the duplicate resolution page opens and the user performs a task to resolve the duplicate issue. Application verification is another stop event that you would need to configure.
For a stop step, specify the following parameters:
Parameter |
Description |
---|---|
Name | Name of the step. |
Display label | Display name for the step. |
Destination | Name of the particular page to navigate to. |
Destination URL | URL of the the page that the system navigates to, when the stop activity or step is triggered. |
