Stop Steps (for User Interaction and to End a Workflow)

Stop steps either indicate the termination or end of the workflow, or they indicate a step where the workflow stops and does not proceed further until a certain human activity is done. Stop steps move the processing back to the APM user interface. When there is a human activity in the workflow, you must configure a stop step.

For example, during a duplicate resolution check, you would need to configure a stop step where the duplicate resolution page opens and the user performs a task to resolve the duplicate issue. Application verification is another stop event that you would need to configure.

For a stop step, specify the following parameters:
Parameter
Description
Name Name of the step.
Display label Display name for the step.
Destination Name of the particular page to navigate to.
Destination URL URL of the the page that the system navigates to, when the stop activity or step is triggered.
