Activating and Deactivating Product Categories

Each product category in the Application Processing Module has a status of either Active or Inactive.
You may not want all of the product categories to be available for use. For example, you may want to apply an Inactive status to product categories that are still under construction or are awaiting review by management.
  1. In the administration navigation pane, click Categories.
  2. (Optional) In the search area field, enter search filter criteria and click Search.
  3. Perform one of the following actions:
    • To deactivate a product category, select the check box next to the entry row and click Deactivate.
    • To activate a product category, click Show inactive categories or Show all, select the check box next to the entry row, and click Activate.
