Entering and Modifying Credit Offer Details

If you have the appropriate permissions, use an application's Credit Offer Details pane to enter or change a credit offer and submit the application for further processing. The Credit Offer Details pane is accessed in one of the following ways:
  • Search for an application in the Pending Credit Offer Entry status to open and view it.
  • Access and open an application from the queue that your administrator may have created and defined for applications in Pending Credit Offer Entry status in the My Queues pane on the Home page.
    Note: When you are working on the priority queue, the applications are displayed in the sequence that is determined by your administrator.

To enter or modify credit offer details, perform the following steps:

  1. Review the data in the Credit Offer Details pane.
    The fields that appear vary depending on the product category.
  2. Review other application data, such as credit data, decision score results, or the application's workflow history, as needed using the links in the Application Information navigation pane.
  3. Review the Request Offer or the System Offer in the Credit Offer Details pane of the open application.
    The System Offer column appears when there is an offer from Decision Module.
    • For a new offer, enter information in the fields that appear under the Counter Offer column and select the Counter Offer check box. Depending on the roles assigned to you, the Counter Offer is column may be visible.
    • To create a Counter Offer using the existing information from the Request Offer, click the Copy Requested Offer icon to copy the requested offer information into the Counter Offer column.
    • To create a Counter Offer using the existing information from the System Offer, click the Copy System Offer icon to copy the system offer information into the Counter Offer column.
  4. In the Score Override reason field, select a reason for overriding the original requested offer.
    This field becomes required only in one of the following scenarios:
    • When the recommended score decision is Approve and you are declining the application.
    • When the recommended score decision is Decline and you are approving the application.

    In all other cases, the Score Override reason is non-mandatory.

  5. Select the offer and click Approve.
    Alternately, click Decline if you must decline the credit application. When you click Decline, the screen prompts you to pick a Decline reason from a drop-down list.
  6. (Optional) Select the and open next case check box to access the next case in the existing queue.
  7. (Optional) To withdraw the application from the system, click Withdraw Application.
    You can also use the Exit Without Saving option.
