Setting up CRAs

The Application Processing Module has been designed to obtain and use consumer credit reports and online credit bureau scores from the following major US Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs): Equifax US, Experian, and TransUnion US. By default, the Application Processing Module is configured to obtain reports from the Data Acquisition Module.

Before processing applications, make sure you have created an account with each CRA from which you wish to obtain credit reports. If you do not already have one, contact one (or more) of the CRAs to open an account. If you want to perform application scoring using the Analytic Module, it is recommended that you also confirm that your account with the CRA provides access to credit bureau models that the Analytic Module requires. When you open an account, each CRA supplies you with information (such as your subscriber number) that you must enter into the Application Processing Module to purchase the credit reports online.
