Viewing Archive and Restore Information

As an administrator, use the Download options on the Restore Applications page to view the files created by the archive and restore processes.

Every execution of the archive process creates a log.csv file with details of the applications that were archived, and an XML file for each application. If the archive process fails, it also creates an apps_being_processed.csv file containing the application identifiers, and an error.txt file.

Every execution of the restore process creates a restore_tmp.csv file with the application numbers that were provided by the user; invalid numbers, if any, are included. If the restore process fails, it creates an error.txt file.

  1. In the administration navigation pane, click Restore Applications.
  2. (Optional) In the search area field, enter the execution type or log status, select Archive or Restore from the drop-down list, and click Search.
  3. To see the details of all the applications that were archived, click Download Global Archived Applications Log.

If the archive process ran three times, for example, and three applications were archived each time, this log file will contain the details of all nine applications.

  4. To view the files for a specific execution of the archive or restore process, click the Execution Identifier link for that row.
  5. For a list of application numbers that were processed, click Download Application Numbers.
Note that this button is available only for an archive process.
  6. To view the contents of a specific file, click Download for that row.
