Restoring Archived Applications

Administrators with the proper permissions can restore archived applications. The restore process imports the credit applications, that are stored in XML format on the server, back into the Origination Manager database.

Applications are archived in the location specified by the ArchiveFolder site property in the om_apm_archive module.

When an application is restored, users are able to open and reprocess the application from the start of the current workflow in the system. Restored applications conform to the data model of the current system.

Note: The workflow history displays the same status and information for an application before it was restored. For example, if an application was declined, it still appears as declined in the workflow history after it has been restored; however, the workflow history does not store the restoration date.
  1. In the administration navigation pane, click Restore Applications.
  2. On the Restore Applications page, click the Restore Applications link.
  3. (Optional) If you do not have a CSV file containing the applications to restore to the system, click Download Template in the Restore Applications Process window. In the template, enter the application numbers to restore, and save the file.
  4. Click Browse and locate the CSV file that contains the numbers of the applications to restore.
  5. Click Upload and Restore.
The number of applications that will be restored to the database appears at the top of the page.

Before applications are restored, the status change time will be modified to the current time so that the applications will not be archived immediately when the archive process runs.
